When I realised today that he had passed away to eternity, I recalled his famous phrase: `Someday you will read or hear that Billy Graham is dead. Don’t you believe a word of it. I will just have changed the address.` Yes, Billy Graham emigrated among the angels! He`ll saddle them to come after us, to paraphrase a poet.

It was only last summer when I visited his home where he was born 100 years ago. I felt tingling under my skin when his voice trumpeted God. As whoever came close to the most prolific worldwide evangelist either started to burn or ran away!

The way how God delivers us from afflictions - by Nicolae Geantă

I like a lot the explanation given by brother Daniel Brânzai to the verse 15 from Job chapter 36: " He shall rescue the poor from their anguish; and he shall use tribulation to open their eyes". We would think that our Lord saves us through a miraculous intervention. That He takes the anguish with His hand. Or that He rescue us through death, in the "worst case". But the pastor Brânzai made me to understand that sometimes I get out of affliction through a greater affliction! He stated that someone said in his church that " Joseph was more secure in the prison of Egypt than at home among his brothers!"

About People among Shells and Sand - by Nicolae Geantă

It was necessary for God to bring in my way many persons with disabilities so I  can carry the mirror of worry away from my hand and transform the shards of grumbling into gratitude. I have seen anguished people everywhere. Too often we move on indifferently. But the indifference may be a subtle type of hate.

Both reach and poor people show up contorted faces. Each of us received from God our face, but the facial expression is depending on us...Smile! The sun brights even when is almost to go down! Some people shut up because of their wisdom. Others shut up because of their foolishness. Anyway , no matter how things are, their quitness is speaking! (One man said that he could not speak to his wife for years because he can not interrupt her!)

The Romanians, the hodge-podge faith and the soap - by Nicolae Geantă

Over 96% of romanians believe in God, says INSCOP, the most recent survey about the mioritical-religious nation. How well it would be! With this share of christians, our country would have almost zero abortion. The deceit would miss, and also the dodgy boys . We would be a nation of saints. The birth would be at least double than death, the pubs would be empty. The police would enter in unemployement, the DNA (National Anticorruption Directorate) would remain without clients. And gays would never have the shamelessness to hang the rainbow flag on the Parliament building! But as sellers of lottery tickets Romanians lie!

Even though 96,5% believe in God, only 83,9% declare themselves religious people. How would be faith without religion? 83% of Romanians says that they respect the Sunday, but only 25,4% of them go to Church in the Lord's Day (or at least weekly) . Over 10% don't get in the House of the Lord only once a year, or less! For the Romanian people, the rest day respect means grill, beer, rag fairs, snacks and malls. The historians says that for the first christians the Church was the centre of their lives. The local Church needs me, whether or not I feel like I need it! Why is what we think that makes us happy just the opposite of God's will?

The Candle And The Bird - by Nicolae Geantă

We, christians, preach that God's presence is like the light. And this is true. Where is He, the dark is missing. But I like that Boreham says that the presence of God is like a bird."Unlike the candle which cannot give light when it is extinguished" says the english writer, "bird which is driven away, sings its song on a different bough."

The History of Church shows us that whenever God is cast out from a place, He sang His holy trills to another one! The Jerusalem did not received Him anymore, but He sang again in Rome and Athene.

The catholics have never received Him back, but He sang with Luther in Germany! The lutherans was not excited about Him anymore, but He sang with the Moravians of Zizerdorf. Then with the Methodists of Wesley, with the Baptists of Spurgeon, with "brothers" from Plymouth, with the Pentecostals from Azusa... The Americans and the Europeans from our days did cast off Christ from family, schools, from church. But He went to sing in South America, in Africa, India and China. Lord, do not go from Romania too!

However the secularists, gay and lesbians, the hedonists or heedless people would endeavor to extinguish the Golgotha Song, they will never succeed. The Bird of Heaven will move to other branches to croon His song.

Don't you want to be among those who sing His song? Among those who keep the candle burning?

You are not the fifth wheel! - by Nicolae Geanta

Are you maybe dissapointed, hurt, unhappy? Does it seem there is no place for you? You are not the only injured person. The Church of God is full of bleeding people. And every morning Jesus comes among them, shakes their hands, congratulates them and kiss their foreheads.

You have a Jesus of the Future, not only one of the Past. What was, it has gone. Everything is new now. Go on.

You are not the fifth wheel. You are the missing wheel from the saint Aggregate of Church. God never make bad choices. But people fail much more. Put yourself Available to God and you'll be used. And people will be ashamed when your acts speak well of your name. Try to do the good and to be...good. Like He was. And still is. 

Keep going on! You were born to win! And Satan does know this. That's why he wants you to go back. Christians have no back. Just front (! or face- the hypocrite people even faces. This is really bad !- )

Running. Fight. Abstinence - by Nicolae Geantă

The christian life is a continuous running. A marathon from START to FINISH. No matter of age, the colour of skin or IQ. This means you never take a break. It is no relaxation time. The christians are not met only in Church, but on the streets, in asylums, în hospitals, in orphanages. They spread the Gospel, support the poor people, bear the burdens of their brothers. They lead the relay race of the Cross of CHRIST.  Running means sweat...

Running is the twin sister of Fight. Daily fight with Gospel's enemies, with Satan, with temptations, with sin, with ourselves! Christian people take a stand AGAINST the libertinism, the Church secularization, the false teachings about the Word of God, the atheism, the indifference. Bible says is a life-death battle, not only donquijotism beating the windmills. Fight means wounds...

The triplet sister of Running and Fight is... Abstinence! Without it, you sweat for nothing. Without it you get uselessly hurt. The Running or Fight do not frighten Satan, but abstinence does. Free rein and without brakes, fog runners or fighters is also his. What irony: to believe that you are fighting for CHRIST and do the will of Satan!

Run! Fight! But also rein yourself! Paul the Apostle says we have to run (to fight) so that we receive the Award. But also that the man who does not rein himself, he will be denied. Do not forget this!

Love the speed! But also the brake!...
